To commemorate the annual opening of Nuffield Place, the home of Lord Nuffield, (Billy Morris of Morris car fame) a convoy is organised each year and has become an annual event.

This year 14 historic Morris, MG, Wolseley and Austin cars lined up outside the Mini Plant at Cowley to take part, and Puff was asked to lead the convoy. It is the 50^th Anniversary Year for the Maxi, and the 60^th Anniversary Year of the Mini ….. a very important year for both marques.

Hundreds of local people lined the route on the 14 mile trip to Nuffield, and there were a large number of people waiting to see the cars arrive. A beautiful day, and a huge turnout for this first day of the season for the National Trust property.
