In 1978, The Maxi was bought by Mrs Pamela Peacock who resided in the Old Post Office at Pidley in Huntingdon. She remained in Mrs Peacock’s ownership until she was found in a chicken shed in 1997. In that year, Paul Merryweather of Parkside Motor Company in Cambridge bought her to refurbish her. She was then sold at auction in 2002 to Giovanni Percossi who took her to a museum in Trieste.
